Anniversary to Remember

Posted by Jasmine R. Dedomo on April 22, 2016 at 5:30 PM

Last October,, hubby and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. Since I wanted to have a holiday for a while, I decided to spend it in a resort. I booked the Safari room at Date and Dine Resort online via Agoda.com. It is located in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Taytay. There were a lot of good reviews about the place so I was really curious to find out for myself if it really deserves the 5-star rating in Tripadvisor.

The place wasn’t hard to locate. From Ynares Center, we took a tricycle and it dropped as at D&D Residences. We thought, we were lost, but it turns out that the establishment is another business of the owner. The resort was small as expected, but it was very clean. The lady accompanied us to our room and were impressed of the hotel and room interior.

After unpacking, we went out for a swim.

I have requested for an overlooking view for dinner. Luckily, the owner reserved the Lovers’ Spot for us.

We ordered pizza and lasagna for dinner since I always love pizza. Hubby and I didn’t enjoy the food (probably because of the dominant taste of the caramelized onions). With just two slices of pizza, my tummy was already full:-)

The next morning, we headed to the gym to burn up some calories.

At 7am we had our English breakfast at the same spot where we had our dinner the night before. Free breakfast for two was already included in the room rate. This time, I have enjoyed my food:-) The staff even approved my request to have hotdogs instead of sausages in my breakfast. It includes 3-in-1 coffee for both of us.

After the breakfast, we had a morning swim before we leave the resort.

I really had a private moment with my Sweetie and I was glad I picked this resort- classy and affordable.

My colleagues couldn’t believe it- for a rate of P1,800 for 1 night, we have availed this relaxing place and 5-star service. We have spent P1,200 for the food and coffee during swimming time. 3-in-1 coffee is too pricey (P60.00). I would recommend this place to everybody. Disregard my comment about the dinner. We could have different preferences with food. Overall, I love the service and I will definitely come back with my kids some other time.
